A Packed one-day event investigating the relationship between science fiction literature, film and music including:
- From Scribe to Screen – what are the most (and least?) successful adaptation of science fiction literature to film? Examples to include Philip K Dick, Ray Bradbury, Walter Tevis.
- Soundtracking Sci-Fi – How great music has enhanced the sci-fi experience on the big screen AND how sci fi literature and film has influenced many a musician.
- A workshop for young people aged 10 - 14 with Dr Who writer Gareth Roberts.
Screenings – during the day there will be screenings of famous sci-fi adaptations including Hunger Games all rounded off by a fabulous Blade Runner party.
